MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Provide Pre-Sales Engineering support for Extreme Network Solutions.
  • Provide Pre-Sales Engineering support for Avaya Solutions.
  • Design, engineer, and implement projects involving Extreme Network solutions.
  • Design, engineer, and implement projects involving Avaya solutions.
  • Demonstrate Extreme Networks Products and all associated products.
  • Demonstrate Avaya Products and all associated products.
  • Project manages installations related to all Avaya Products and Solutions.
  • Train end users on features of Avaya Products and Solutions.
  • Provide, Inside Sales, Account Executives, and Sales Engineer personnel with education and support on a daily basis.
  • Provide any other support to ensure SKC operates up to standards on a daily basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education
College degree preferred. 
Avaya ACA IP Telephony Design
 
Experience

  • 2 years Avaya experience
  • 2 years experience in Telecommunications networking, IP LAN/WAN, and Videoconferencing
  • Technical experience in the above fields
  • Excellent communication skills

Genearal Qualifications

Ability to analyze customer situations, make decisions and solve problems under pressure.  Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and detail.  Basic numeric skills.  Ability to maintain positive working relationships with management, co-workers, clients and vendors.  Ability to communicate effectively face-to-face, in groups, and via telephone and written communication.  Ability to travel.  Ability to sit for long periods of time entering computer data, researching leads, and telephone communication (up to eight (8) hours).  Ability to be detail oriented, work without supervision and must be available during working hours.
