VBrick’s Enterprise Media System is comprised of six distinct pieces:
Viewing Portal
(VEMS) Video Management software provides end users access to viewing, publishing, searching, and recording live and on demand IP video. Intuitive features such as bookmarking and playlists make accessing and sharing video easy.
Presentation Delivery
The VEMS Presenter module allows anyone the ability to deliver a webcast over their enterprise IP network or on the Internet. Advanced features and system scalability allow the Video Management software to be used for high-end executive broadcasts and productions.
Scheduling Broadcasts and Recordings
The VEMS Scheduler module allows organizations to schedule IP video broadcasts. This includes broadcasting live video from VBrick appliances, stored video from Video On-Demand servers, and initializing recordings on the Network Video Recorder and on VBrick IP Video appliances with a hard drive.
IP Television Channel Guide
The VEMS Channel Guide allows organizations distributing television channels across their IP network to also automatically associate the program listings with those channels. Organizations that are creating their own IP video channels can also create custom program listings.
Intelligent Video Networking
VBrick’s Enterprise Media System intelligently routes viewers to the most appropriate location to receive streaming content. This eliminates bandwidth concerns and expensive network upgrades. Combined with VBrick Reflector appliances at the network edge, this creates the most scalable and manageable solution in the industry.
System Administration
VEMS Video Management software provides extensive administrative controls that enable ease of system setup, configuration, and ongoing management. The Reporter functionality provides a variety of management reports to measure overall and individual system usage.
