Step 1: Solution Planning & Design
SKC will lead you through the design process for the infrastructure, hardware and software components of your UC architecture for Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS) 2007 R2, Lync, and Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 unified messaging. During this engagement, SKC will evaluate your key architectural design factors, including requirements for performance, high-availability and security. SKC will present alternatives, work with you to determine the final direction, create a detailed architecture and network design and ultimately provide an implementation plan that enables a successful deployment throughout your enterprise. We prepare:
- Assessment of your current network and technical architecture to determine required changes
- Project plan detailing the optimal architecture and integration within your Microsoft solution infrastructure
- Solution design to be used for Pilot Solution Deployment or Full Deployment
- Complete report of findings based on discovery and component evaluation
This is a required service when integrating Polycom Conferencing for Outlook, Office Communications Server or Lync, or deploying
Microsoft Office Communication Server or Lync for IM/Presence.
