Title: Project Account Support Specialist

Work hours: between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm

Employment Status: Non-Exempt

Location: SKC HQ – Shawnee, KS

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

1. Update and complete information in Sales Force and Microsoft SL

2. Assist designated project managers with administrative/accounting issues for assigned projects

3. Participate in introduction calls with customers before projects commence to reinforce billing expectations as outlined in the scope of work and negotiate new terms when needed

4. Enter all customer orders into system for projects which includes working with multiple departments to ensure efficient processing

5. Reconcile orders in the system against original quotes and customer purchase orders throughout the course of a project

6. Create and manage progress billing for projects

7. Invoice all project customers, occasionally creating pro forma invoices to meet customer needs as well as other necessary paperwork

8. Make collection calls for any unpaid project invoices

9. Manage customer accounts to ensure all transactions are paid/refunded appropriately

10. Create miscellaneous reports for management as requested

11. Provide support and work with supervisor

12. Meet or exceed individual goals

13. Provide suggestions regarding overall process improvement

14. Maintain confidentiality

15. Provide any other support to ensure SKC operates up to standards on a daily basis

Education

College degree preferred

 

Experience

Proficient using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Accounting experience preferred

Ability to analyze customer situations, make decisions and solve problems under pressure. Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and detail. Basic numeric skills. Ability to maintain positive working relationships with management, co-workers, clients, and vendors.Ability to communicate effectively face-to-face, in groups, and via telephone and written communication. Ability to travel. Ability to sit for long periods of time entering computer data, researching leads, and telephone communication (up to eight (8) hours). Ability to be detail-oriented, work without supervision and must be available during working hours.
