Situation:

As Kansas State University began planning their new Basketball Training facility, it was adament that their technology was up to par with the unparalleled game-day atmosphere that their basketball program already provides. They needed to provide a facility that would double as a recruiting tool to attract the best. The new $18 million, 50,000 square foot training facility located on the east side of Bramlage Coliseum is equipped with SKC Communications’ integrated systems to provide for the needs of players, coaches, and fans alike.

Solution:

SKC provided Design/Build services for the new K-State Basketball Practice Facility which integrated game file and distribution capabilities throughout the entire facility as well as state-of-the art audio and video in the weight room and practice court.

Results:

The training facility and its technology create an ideal environment for the student athletes to work, train, and study. While K-State already has an established basketball program, the new basketball training facility helps take K-State men’s and women’s programs to the next level in terms of recruiting, advancing athletic performance and enhancing the university’s brand.
